Description: Early Childhood and Family Service Bases provide an administrative base for a range of services, information and support for families with young children that can be delivered in the base, in their local community and also in the home. Services are offered through a variety of providers. Everyone will be able to get advice and guidance online, via phone or email; you can take your child to play activities and meet other parents; and the ECFS teams are trained to support families in their homes or in groups in the community. There are currently two bases per district except Norwich which has three.

Description: A cluster is a group of schools which work together. It usually consists of a secondary school (or schools) and its (their) feeder schools, with a few exceptions. The schools within a cluster group are generally current LA-maintained schools or academies that were LA-maintained schools before conversion. They may work together and support each other in a variety of ways, such as peer observation of teaching and learning, joint curriculum development, sharing staff such as parent support advisers or SENCOs or subject leaders, and joint CPD. Formerly clusters followed the same boundaries as Secondary School catchments. Athough this is often still the case, it is possible that one or more primary schools may feed to one secondary school but belong to the cluster of a different secondary school. Cluster 10 is comprised of the Roman Catholic schools in Norfolk and as such encompass the whole of Norfolk so there is no representation for it in this feature.
